Stranger Things - Topshop, London
Happy Halloween everyone,
I hope you're all having a wonderful time trick or treating, watching movies, and whatever else you're doing!
I decided to post something a bit different to what I'd normally post, I'm going to share my experience at the popular clothing store called Topshop which has turned their London store into a 'Stranger Things inspired world' to celebrate their collaboration with Netflix.
First off, I'd like to say that there will be minor spoilers in this post, but don't worry, they're only on season 1! The shop in Oxford Circus had four different locations set up, the Hawkins Lab, The school lockers, Castle Byers, and the Arcade (which was seen in season 2)

Castle Byers
This was set up to look exactly like Will's fort. You could walk in and take pictures too, I personally didn't take any photos and I definitely do regret it now...
School Lockers
The set was made to look like the school lockers of the characters. It included props, such as stickers and photos, but also other props relating to the characters and their personalities.
The Hawkins lab
The lab was a room with three walls and a glass 'wall' with a view to the road ( this was basically in the section where the shop would usually place their display). The room was set up to look identical to the room were Eleven has her powers checked. Here, you had to use your powers to move a can of Coca-Cola.
The Arcade
The room was made to feel like the arcade that Will, Mike, Dustin and Lucas were in throughout the season. The room was split into two sections, There was section 1, which was the first room you walked into, it was made to look like the arcade would in the upside down, while the other room was made to look like the normal arcade. There was a range of arcade games that you could play, including Dragon's Lair. You had to spend a minimum of £25 in order to enter the arcade, you were given a ticket/s at the till with your purchase and that ticket was your entry ticket.
The shop had two display sections, one was being used by the Hawkins lab, while the other was being used by a display of Byers' living room. The display included the famous lights, the sofas and other set props that were seen in the show.
I hope you enjoyed this post, I know that it was very different to what I usually post!
